Lobby for Equality in Pennsylvania

On March 17, please join our friends at Equality Advocates Pennsylvania and the Value All Families Coalition for a statewide lobby day and rally in Harrisburg. This is your chance to tell your elected state officials why equal rights are so important to you, your family, and your friends.

Your voice is the most powerful and effective tool we have in the fight for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality. Whether or not you can attend lobby day, make sure you are heard today! Tell your state representative that Pennsylvania needs an anti-discrimination law that protects everyone.

Right now, there is no state law prohibiting employment discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.

That means someone can lose their job simply because they are gay or transgender. That’s not right, and it’s time to change the law so that everyone is protected.

House Bill 300 would prohibit discrimination in employment, housing, and public accommodations based on sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. Please RSVP here to join LGBT people and allies from across the state on March 17 to help pass House Bill 300 and protect LGBT people from discrimination.

Don't forget to take action by sending a letter to your state representative in support of House Bill 300!

Warmly,
Joe Solmonese
President, Human Rights Campaign
